Men's Golf Finishes 11th

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Purdue men's golf team finished 11th at the Northern Intercollegiate in Ann Arbor, Mich. The event was hosted by the University of Michigan.

The Boilermakers fired a final-round 300 on Sunday and totaled an 892 over the three rounds. Xavier won the tournament with an 853.

The tournament was held on the par-71, 6,702-yard University of Michigan Golf Course, the site of the 2004 Big Ten Championships.

Purdue was led by senior Luke Epp who fired a three-round 222. Epp posted rounds of 72, 73 and 77 and tied for 27th overall.

Freshman Pariya Junhasavasdikul carded a team-low 71 in the final round on Sunday. He tied for 38th overall.

Senior Shiv Kapur tied for 47th after a 226. Junior Dustin Cone tied for 52nd after a final-round 75 and total of 227.

Freshman Peter Richardson totaled a 228 and tied for 56th.

The Boilermakers are in action again on Oct. 6 and 7, at the Windon Memorial Classic in Glenview, Ill.
