Semiah Bowden was hired in 2023 to serve as Purdue’s director of on-campus recruiting after spending the 2022 season at Tennessee. In her first few months on the job, she earned a Nunn-Wooten Scouting Fellowship and spent some of the summer with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
While at Tennessee, Bowden served as a recruiting analyst and assisted in building a recruiting class that ranked top 10 nationally.
Bowden worked for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2021-22, working in their community relations and youth football department. She assisted in planning, organizing, and executing all Eagles community and youth football events, including corporate activations. Bowden handled community requests via phone and digital submission, while collaborating with youth football contacts to distribute equipment as needed. She helped the organization plan the first ever Eagles Girls Flag Football Jamboree.
Bowden graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport management in 2020 from Georgia Southern University. During her time at Georgia Southern, she worked in athletic marketing and football operations.
