Lorenda Holston was named Student-Athlete Development Associate in August 2021 for Purdue Athletics.
Holston came to Purdue from Georgia Tech, at which she served in the position of academic support coordinator since 2019.
Holston was a track & field student-athlete at Colorado State University. She moved into support services upon graduation, first as a student-athlete support services intern from 2017-19. She also served as a graduate assistant for diversity and inclusion within the athletics department. While a student-athlete, Holston earned All-America honors and broke the school record in 60m hurdles, holding the program best mark at 8.06.
A Riverdale, Georgia, native, Holston graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies and a minor in sociology in 2017. She earned her master’s degree in student affairs in higher education in 2019, also from CSU.
