Personal: Caroline Egan returns to her alma mater as a volunteer coach for the 2011-2012 season. Caroline cheered at Purdue from 2006-2010 and was co-captain of the squad her senior year.
A graduate of Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School (all-girl) out of Chicago, Illinois, Caroline cheered for St. Laurence High School (all-boy) for game day and competitions. In 2003, Caroline won an ICCA state championship with St. Laurence. In 2005, St. Laurence won a WCA national championship. In 2006, St. Laurence won at COA nationals and received the COA Ultimate Cup along with a Jamfest Super Nationals championship.
While at Purdue, Caroline competed three times for the Boilermakers at NCA college nationals. In 2009, her junior year, Purdue placed 5th in the division 1A coed division.
Caroline has 10 years of gymnastics experience and 9 years of cheerleading experience. She gained coaching experience for both St. Laurence High School (WCA, Jamfest and COA national champions both years she coached) and Queen of Martyrs Grammar School, both located in Chicago.
A 2010 graduate with a degree in psychology, child development and family studies, Caroline Michele Egan is the youngest daughter of James and Gio Enna Egan. She has an older sister, Nina. Caroline currently resides in West Lafayette where she currently is a nanny.
