Karson Hahn

Karson Hahn
Karson Hahn joined the Purdue track & field team in 2020-21 and serves as a volunteer coach.
 
Hahn comes to Purdue from the University of Tennessee Martin, where he was a graduate assistant coach from 2018-20 and helped coach the Skyhawks to their highest conference and regional finishes in program history.
 
While at UTM, Hahn earned his masters degree in family and consumer sciences, with a focus in nutrition.
 
Hahn was a middle distance runner at Eastern Illinois University from 2015-18. In 2017, he helped the Panthers win the OVC indoor track & field championship and earned Second Team All-OVC accolades while wining silver in the distance medley relay. In three seasons, he totaled five top-five finishes at the conference meet.
 
Hahn graduated in 2018 with a bachelors degree in exercise science.
 
Prior to his time at EIU, Hahn competed for two seasons at Rend Lake College, where he advanced to the Junior College National Championships in cross country and indoor and outdoor track.
 
A native of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Hahn attended Mount Vernon High and advanced to the IHSA Class 2A state meet as a junior and senior.
