Hawkeyes' Big Second Half Dooms Boilermakers
IOWA CITY, Iowa - Going into the half, things looked pretty good for Purdue. However, the complexion of the game changed after the break, as the Iowa Hawkeyes scored 50 points in the second half en route to an 84-62 Big Ten victory.
Brad Miller led the Boilermakers with 16 and Jaraan Cornell threw in 13, but Purdue (16-11, 11-6 Big Ten) shot less than 39 percent from the floor.
Andre Woolridge had a game-high 18 and Guy Rucker added 16 and grabbed nine rebounds for the Hawkeyes.
The Boilermakers return to the floor next weekend against Illinois.
