WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Quarterback Ryan Browne, linebacker Charles Correa and wide receiver De’Nylon Morrissette will join head coach Barry Odom to represent Purdue Football at Big Ten Media Days in Chicago next month. The quartet of Boilermakers will appear at the event on Wednesday, July 29, speaking to the media and looking ahead to the 2026 season.
Other schools joining Purdue on the second day will be Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Oregon and UCLA.
Browne is back for his junior season to lead the Purdue offense after starting all 12 games during the 2025 campaign. He recorded a trio of 300-yard passing games, becoming just the fourth Purdue quarterback since 1995 (Drew Brees - 1999, 2000 | Kyle Orton - 2004 | Curtis Painter - 2007) to throw for more than 300 yards in three of the first five games of a season. Along with his production through the air, the signal caller added 206 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
In his first season in West Lafayette, Correa was a leader of the Boilermaker defense and became an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention linebacker. Starting all 12 games, the Kuli'ou'ou, Hawaii, native racked up 96 tackles, 7.5 tackles-for-loss and 3.0 sacks. His 7.5 TFLs were a team high, and he finished third in tackles behind a pair of teammates (Mani Powell and Tahj Ra-El) that led the Big Ten. Making 73 tackles in conference contests, Correa ranked eighth in the league. He produced five double-digit tackle games, including a season-high 15 versus Illinois.
Morrissette is ready to return to the field after missing the entire 2025 season due to injury. He was set to be a primary factor in the Purdue’s offense, which remains the case heading into this season. In 2024, his first year as a Boilermaker, Morrissette appeared in 11 games and made four starts. He hauled in 11 catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns.
Odom enters his second season as Purdue’s head coach. During the offseason, Odom and his staff brought in a portal class that ranked Top 25 nationally and fourth in the Big Ten. In his first season in West Lafayette, he coached seven Boilermakers to all-conference honors. That included Third Team All-Big Ten linebacker Mani Powell, who became the first Boilermaker in history to lead the Big Ten in tackling in conference games.
