THE SCENE SETTER
• Beginning the final week of the regular season, the 15th-ranked Purdue Boilermakers looks to create some momentum heading into the postseason when it travels to Northwestern on Wednesday for the only meeting between the two teams. The Boilermakers have lost two games in a row overall and back-to-back games at Welsh-Ryan Arena. A win would give Purdue 13 Big Ten wins for the sixth straight season.
• Purdue will conclude the regular-season on Saturday when Wisconsin visits Mackey Arena for Senior Day.

THE SERIES
• Purdue and Northwestern will meet for the 185th time in series history, with the Boilermakers holding a 136-48 series lead against the Wildcats.
• Northwestern, however, has won two of the last four meetings with Purdue, including two straight games in Welsh-Ryan Arena when Purdue was ranked No. 1 in the country (Feb. 2023, Dec. 2023).
• Northwestern is one of two Big Ten opponents that the Purdue senior class has not won a road game against. The other is UCLA.
