WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilers head on the road to face Michigan after concluding a 13-game home stand, winning 11 games of the 13.

Purdue most recently took the run-rule victory over Valparaiso in walk-off fashion. The Boiler scored eight runs in the bottom of the fifth on Wednesday night to finish off the Beacons.

The Boilers will take on Michigan for their first away Big Ten series after hosting both Ohio State and No. 18 Oregon in back-to-back weeks.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Michigan comes into the series 19-12 and 0-6 in Big Ten play. Although the Wolverines are yet to earn an in-conference victory, they have faced two of the top Big Ten teams in Washington and No. 10 Nebraska.

Michigan was not shutout in any of its games against Washington or Oregon, with its biggest margin of defeat coming in at just four runs.

SERIES HISTORY
Michigan and Purdue have faced one another 58 times in their histories, with the Boilers only winning four of the matchups. The last time Purdue defeated Michigan was in 2023.

During the 2025 Big Ten Tournament, Michigan knocked out the Boilers in the semifinals after Purdue had become the first-ever twelve seed to make it that far in the tournament.
