Boilermakers Resume Spring Season at Hootie Intercollegiate

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – After over a month off, the Purdue men’s golf team returns to action on Sunday with a trip to the low-country of South Carolina and the Hootie Intercollegiate at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, South Carolina.

The Boilermakers will be one of 13 teams in the field and are looking for its second consecutive title in the event, after defeating South Carolina last season in a playoff.

Purdue is coming off a 13th-place finish in its first competition of the spring in last month’s Puerto Rico Classic, but has finished in the top six in four of seven events this season.

Action begins Sunday and will run through Tuesday, with the 13 teams playing 18 holes each day.
