WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - After sweeping Ohio State to start conference play, the Boilers look to extend their 14-game win streak against No. 18 Oregon this weekend in West Lafayette.

Purdue earned various accolades this week with freshman Anna Moore earning her second-consecutive Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor as well as D1 Softball’s National Freshman of the Week.

Junior, Moriah Polar, is the national leader in hits, and batting average, while also leading the Big Ten in both categories as well as stolen bases.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Oregon comes into the series at No. 18 in the NFCA/GoRout Top 25 poll. The Ducks are 21-7 overall and 3-0 in conference after sweeping Penn State. The Ducks have picked up ranked wins over No. 21 Liberty, No. 11 Texas A&M, No. 13 South Carolina, and No. 20 Duke.

Oregon is led by Elon Butler and Ayanna Shaw at the plate, with Lydnsey Grein and Maddie Milhorn on the mound.

SERIES HISTORY
Purdue and Oregon have only faced one another seven times in their histories, with the most recent matchup being 14 years ago in 2012. The Boilers have only defeated the Ducks once in their histories, back in 1998 in Phoenix, Ariz. Although Purdue and Oregon have never faced one another in Lafayette, Oregon's first-ever trip to Purdue was last year during the Big Ten Tournament.
