WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Hot on an eleven-game win streak, the Boilers are set to host Ohio State for the beginning of Big Ten Play.

After going 5-0 at the Boilermaker Classic, Purdue fought to continue the streak, earning a walk-off victory in the bottom of the tenth against Indiana State on Wednesday.

The Boilers have continued to make their mark nationally, coming in at an RPI of 37 in the first rankings of the year. Junior, Moriah Polar, is the national leader in hits, and second in batting average, while leading the Big Ten in both categories.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
The Buckeyes come into the weekend series 8-13 on the season, and 2-1 in Big Ten play. Ohio State took the series win over Iowa, only losing the first game to the Hawkeyes.

In their most recent game, Ohio State fell to Western Michigan in a high-scoring 11-10 game in Columbus. The Buckeyes lost all five games in their final preseason tournament before Big Ten play falling to Duke, Boston University, and fellow Big Ten foe, Northwestern.

SERIES HISTORY
