MINNEAPOLIS Daryn Wright medaled in a diving event for the second day in a row, capping her distinguished career as a four-time medalist by winning her first silver for Purdue Women’s Swimming & Diving at the Big Ten Championships.

Wright was the silver medalist in platform diving, capping a week in which in which the Boilermakers won a medal of all colors in the diving events. Wright was 12-for-12 in career top-10 finishes at Big Tens. As an upperclassman, she finished top five in all three diving events both years.

Keira Kask (A finalist in 200 fly), Reagan Mattice (9th in 1650 free), Campbell Scofield (200 fly) and Avery Worobel (platform diving) also finished top 10 in their individual events Saturday on the final day of the championship meet. Worobel was honored as first-team All-Big Ten after winning the conference title on 3-meter Friday. Wright was a second-team All-Big Ten honoree as a silver medalist.

Worobel and Wright teamed up for four medals this week. Worobel added a 1-meter bronze to her Big Ten title on 3-meter, finishing top 10 in all three diving events in the process. Wright was also a bronze medalist on 3-meter.
