WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Just over three weeks remain until the Purdue men’s basketball team holds its biennial Alumni Game at Mackey Arena on Aug. 2.
The sixth edition of the highly-popular game will take place at noon inside Mackey Arena, following the Purdue football team’s Fan Day that will start at 8:15 a.m. ET, with an open practice followed by autographs on the field from 10:15 to 11 a.m. ET.
Fans are then encouraged to head to Mackey Arena after football’s festivities to catch all your favorite former Boilermakers in action. In addition, this year’s current Boilermakers will be introduced as a group to the public for the first time.
TICKET INFO: Starting Tuesday, July 15, donors with premium season ticket seats for men’s basketball can call their BAR and claim their seats (up to two extra tickets, based on availability) for $15 each. The option to claim your season seats will be available through Friday, July 18. Beginning Monday July 21st at 10am, any remaining premium seats will become available to non-premium men’s basketball season tickets holders that are John Purdue Club members. The premium seats will not be made available to the general public.
All other seating in Mackey arena will be free and open to the public on a first come first served basis. All Mackey Arena entrances will be open.
CLEAR BAG POLICY: The Purdue Clear Bag policy will be in effect for the Alumni Game. The following are permissible:
- One bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and does not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches
- One one-gallon clear plastic bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Also permissible is one small clutch bag (no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches) - approximately the size of a hand - with or without a handle or strap.
- Exceptions will be made for ticket holders with medically necessary items and/or diaper bags (with a child/children present).
PARKING INFO: Lot F (just north of Mackey Arena) and FB Staff (off Northwestern) will be closed and available by permit only, but every other lot / space around Mackey Arena will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
CONCESSION STANDS: A handful of concession stands will be open during the course of the game and a pop-up Purdue Team Store stand will have limited availability of merchandise. In addition, fans will be able to scan QR codes on their phones to the Purdue NIL Team Store to purchase player-drive merchandise.
CLUB SPACES: The Spurgeon Club and J Nine Clubs will be open to all fans.
FORMER PLAYERS: A full list of former players in attendance will be released the week of the Alumni Game. In past years, approximately 60-70 former players have been in attendance. The game will consist of two, 20-minute halves with running clock.
