ZAGREB, Croatia – The Purdue volleyball team ended its time in Croatia with a one-day trip to Zagreb to take on the Mladost club team, beating the Croatians 4-0.
Purdue's middles shined, producing just two errors among the trio of Raven Colvin, Lourdes Myers and Lizzie Carr. Carr led the team with an errorless .857 attack % after six kills on seven swings. Meanwhile, Colvin led the team with four blocks.
The outside hitters tandem of Chloe Chicoine and Eva Hudson paced the team with 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Chicoine's came without an error, ending the day with a .579 hitting clip.
As a team, the Boilermakers produced 47 assists, led by Taylor Anderson's 36.
Libero Ali Hornung guided the back row with 14 digs.
Tomorrow, Purdue will head to Istanbul, Türkiye for its final five days of its European Tour. Purdue is 2-0-1 during the team's time abroad, and has not lost a set in the last 10 sets.
