LAST TIME OUT
The Boilermakers needed an extra period and two standout performances to down Illinois 77-72 on Monday night in Mackey Arena. Jeanae Terry nearly pulled off a triple-double with nine points, nine rebounds and 14 assists, the second most helpers in a game in Purdue history. Mary Ashley Stevenson powered the offensive with 25 points, including a perfect 9-for-9 at the line. It was the most points by a Purdue freshman since 2010-11.

NOTES
• Purdue leads the all-time series with Indiana 55-41. The Boilermakers are going for their first win at Assembly Hall since 2012.
• Purdue's freshman class continues to lead the Big Ten in points per game at 22.3 and per league contest with 22.1 per night.
Mary Ashley Stevenson moved up to third in Big Ten freshman scoring at 9.8 points per game with her 25-point game against Illinois. Stevenson tallied her eighth game this year with seven points and seven rebounds, most among league rookies.
• Stevenson leads all Big Ten freshmen in scoring at 10.4 points and rebounding at 5.4 boards per league contest.
Jeanae Terry became the seventh player in Purdue history to record 500 assists with her 14-dime outing against Illinois. Terry joined Stephanie White and Katie Douglas as the only Boilermakers to post 500 assists and 600 rebounds in a career.
• Terry has posted the most games in the nation with at least eight assists and eight rebounds in five games this year. Since her arrival in West Lafayette in 2021-22, Terry has accomplished the feat 16 times, second in the country to Iowa's Caitlin Clark.
• The Boilermakers are one of three teams nationally with two 1,800-point career scorers (Caitlyn Harper - 1,839, Abbey Ellis - 1,807), joining Indiana and LSU.
• A trio of Boilermakers are closing in on 1,000-point. Abbey Ellis needs 11 points to become Purdue's 36th 1,000-point scorer. Madison Layden is 57 points away from joining the club. Jeanae Terry is 20 points away from reaching 1,000 for her career.
• Terry is four assists and five rebounds away from becoming the second player in Big Ten history to reach the 900-rebound, 700-assist and 200-steal club. She will be the 10th player in league history to total 700 assists in a career.
• Led by Abbey Ellis' 85.2% free throw mark, which ranks eighth in the Big Ten, Purdue has the 14th-best free throw percentage in the nation and second in the conference at 77.9%
• Purdue is one of five teams in the nation to have two different freshmen score 20 or more points in a game, joining Iowa State, Quinnipiac, St. Mary's and LSU.
• Sunday will mark the eighth time in the last  nine games Purdue will face a team in the top 30 of the NCAA NET.
Mary Ashley Stevenson's 25 points against Illinois were the most by a Purdue rookie since Courtney Moses in 2010-11.
• Purdue's freshmen have scored 10 or more points 21 times this season, matching Nebraska for the most in the Big Ten.
• Madison Layden is second in the Big Ten with a 44.2% 3-point percentage.
