WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue kickstarts its February slate with a road trip at Dartmouth and Yale this Friday and Sunday.

The Boilermakers split a pair of home matches this past weekend with a win over Western Michigan. Over the weekend, Purdue took both doubles points and has now won three of its first five doubles points.

Against Denver, Purdue experienced its first significant lineup change with scratches at singles No. 1 and 2. This gave Stefan Simeunovic, Juan David Velasquez and Alexander Ekstrand their first career appearances in the top half of the singles lineup. The trio went 0-3 with only Velasquez forcing a three-set contest.

Despite the lineup changes, the Boilermakers have won three of its first five matches at singles No. 2, 3, 4 and 6.

SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
The Big Green are off to a roaring start at 4-0 having already secured a win over a Big Ten opponent after downing Indiana 4-2 on Jan. 26.

Miles Groom and Henry Ren are the only players undefeated across singles and doubles. However, no player for Dartmouth has more than three combined losses to start the season.

Purdue is 1-1 all-time against the Big Green. The first-ever meeting between the programs came in a 4-3 victory in New Hampshire back in 2013. The two schools then went a decade without facing off until Dartmouth defeated the Boilers 5-2 in West Lafayette last season.

SCOUTING YALE
Yale (2-0) has outscored its opponents 13-1 to open the season. Despite no team ranking, the Bulldogs will bring three ITA Ranked players to the court on Sunday.

No. 60 Theo Dean and No. 100 Vignesh Gogineni went a combined 17-5 in the fall campaign to earn nobs in the ITA Preseason Rankings. Gogineni is undefeated at singles No. 1 through two matches.

Yale will also look to challenge Purdue in doubles play with a Top 40 team. No. 39 Aidan Reilly/Theo Dean went 2-0 in the fall but suffered their first loss of the season against Quinnipiac.

The Boilermakers took the only matchup between the two squads with a 4-3 victory in Conn. back in 2011.
