NOTES
• Maryland holds a 16-2 series lead over Purdue.
• The Boilermakers moved to 2-1 in Big Ten play with back-to-back wins over Wisconsin and Rutgers. Purdue tallied 83 points per game and committed just 22 giveaways, while the defense surrendered 63 points per game over the last two outings.
• Madison Layden has been on fire from behind the arc this season with a Big Ten best 49.3% from distance, which ranks eighth nationally. The Kokomo, Ind., native has drained four or more triples in six games this season to tie for sixth in the country among players from major conferences this year.
• Reigning Big Ten Freshman of the Week Mary Ashley Stevenson has recorded eight points and eight assists in four games, which ties her fourth nationally among major conference freshmen and leads the Big Ten.
• Purdue leads the Big Ten in scoring defense at 62 points per league game. The Boilermakers have held nine teams to 60 or fewer points, good for second in the Big Ten and tied for 14th nationally. Since Purdue's season opener at UCLA, opponents have scored just 59.9 points per game.
• The Boilermakers are the only team to have two different players win Big Ten Freshman of the Week this season. Mary Ashley Stevenson earned the honor last week following 12 points and eight rebounds per game in wins over Indiana State and Wisconsin. Rashunda Jones dropped 20 points on Texas A&M to pick up the laurel in mid-November.
• Jeanae Terry continues to fill up the stat sheet on offense, ranking second in the Big Ten in rebounding (12.3) and assists (7.7) per league game. The fifth-year senior is the only player in the Big Ten to rank in the top-10 in rebounds and assists in all games this year.
• The Boilermakers have a perfect 8-0 record at Mackey Arena this season, as a part of a 10-game home winning streak that is second-longest active mark in the Big Ten. Purdue is 1-3 in true road games with losses to UCLA, Notre Dame and Minnesota who sit sixth, seventh and 38th in the NET, respectively.
• Saturday will be the first return trip to Maryland for the Reynolds sisters. Mila appeared in 22 games for the Terrapins last year, while Amiyah signed for Maryland before committing to Purdue in May.
• Madison Layden leads the Big Ten in 3-point shooting percentage in conference games at 66.7%.
• Jeanae Terry is one of three Big Ten players averaging five points, rebounds and assists per game alongside Shyanne Sellers from Maryland and Caitlin Clark from Iowa.
• Abbey Ellis is 103 points away from joining the 1,000-point club at Purdue. Ellis has 1,715 career points in five collegiate seasons.
