WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – From electrifying touchdowns to an intense Pro Boiler matchup, week 11 of the 2023-24 NFL season witnessed an extraordinary display of talent as 10 former Purdue football players took center stage.
In a thrilling week 11 matchup between two former Boilermaker standouts, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell and Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert showcased their exceptional skills and left an indelible mark on the gridiron. Mostert, an experienced NFL veteran, continued his dominance in the run game rushing for 86 yards on 22 attempts while tacking on one 7-yard reception. On the opposing offense, rookie O'Connell completed 24-of-41 passing attempts for a career-high 271 yards and one touchdown. Mostert and the Dolphins held on to win 20-13 at home, handing O'Connell his first loss since being named starting quarterback. The rookie and the veteran showed each other much love and respect after the game.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Rondale Moore once again lit up the field with an exhilarating 48-yard touchdown catch against the Houston Texans on Sunday. It was Moore's second 45+ yard touchdown of the season as his speed continues to torch defenses.
