The Boilermakers totaled a 54-hole tally of 38-under par 814 (268-269-277) to defeat No. 19-ranked East Tennessee State by four shots (274-270-274=818). Indiana was third at 29-under par 823, South Florida was fourth at 27-under par 825 and North Florida finished fifth at 23-under par 829.
Purdue led Northwestern by two shots after round one, then led East Tennessee State by seven shots entering today's final round.
The Buccaneers put some pressure on the Boilermakers in the third round, cutting the lead to three shots as the two teams made the turn to the back nine. The Boilermakers' counting team was 1-over par through the front nine, but the four Purdue players combined to go 8-under par on the back nine to cruise to the victory, holding between a five to seven-shot lead for most of the back nine.
Leading the charge, and claiming his fourth career tournament title, was senior Herman Sekne. Sekne played the back nine in 4-under par for a final-round 65 and a tournament title by four shots, shooting a 16-under par, and school-record 197 (64-68-65).
Sekne now has recorded five rounds in the 60s this season and has recorded a top-10 finish in 15-of-30 career events. His stroke average this season is at 68.88 strokes per round and he owns a career average of 71.41. His 30 career rounds in the 60s are an ongoing school record and six better than second on the list (Austin Eoff – 24).
Kent Hsiao had his best performance of his career with an eighth-place showing at 8-under par 205 (68-69-68). Hsiao was even-par through 11 holes, but birdied three of the last seven holes for his third straight round in the 60s. It marked his first career top-10 finish.
Peyton Snoeberger also had one of his best performances of his career, finishing tied for ninth at 7-under par 206 (69-65-72). Snoeberger was 2-under par through 13 holes including a huge eagle on the par-5 13th hole, but suffered bogeys on three of his final five holes to fall back. However, his top-10 showing was the second of his career.
Nels Surtani finished tied for 29th at 3-under par 210 (68-66-76), while Sam Easterbrook finished tied for 53rd at 1-over par 214 (69-73-72).
Playing as an individual, Nick Dentino finished tied for 24th at 4-under par 209 (70-66-73).
Purdue returns to action next week at the Fighting Irish Classic, starting Sunday at Warren Golf Course.
- Purdue won its 10th team title during the Rob Bradley era. The Boilermakers have now two of their last four regular-season events (2023 Boilermaker Invitational; 2023 Windon Memorial Classic).

- Sekne now has four of the six-lowest tournament scores in school history.
