Admission is free for all fans to the contest and to each regular-season home game in 2023. There will be a grocery tote giveaway for all fans while supplies last, and Thursday is Student Appreciation Night. As part of Student Group Night, campus groups and student involvement will be celebrated during the game. As a reminder to all fans, a clear bag policy is in effect for all Purdue Athletics events once again in 2023.

Following a two-game roadtrip, the Boilermakers return home with a 2-4-0 record and a 2-2-0 mark at Folk Field. The Old Gold and Black are coming off a 3-0 loss at Colorado on Sunday afternoon. The Horned Frogs visit West Lafayette with a 2-2-1 mark after a 1-0 home victory over Texas A&M on Sunday. Purdue and TCU will meet for the first time in program history on Thursday night.
The Boilermakers have scored 12 goals with 13 assists for 37 points on 75 shots and 35 shots on target. Eight of Purdue's 12 goals have come from different players, and four of those are first career goals. The Old Gold and Black have allowed 11 goals.
Individually, senior goalkeeper Charlotte Cyr is third in the Big Ten with 21 saves and fourth with 519:32 minutes played. A pair of Boilermakers rank sixth in the conference, as senior midfielder Emily Mathews has three assists and junior forward Gracie Dunaway has 3.00 shots per game. Dunaway leads the team with three goals and shares the team lead of six points with sophomore forward Kayla Budish. Dunaway also paces the Boilermakers with 18 shots and eight shots on goal. Cyr has a 1.91 goals-against average and a .656 save percentage.

TCU owns a 2-2-1 record and a 0-1-0 mark away from home. The Horned Frogs downed in-state rival Texas A&M, 1-0, on September 3 after a goalless draw to UAB three days earlier. Against ranked foes, TCU owns a 2-0 loss to No. 6 Florida State and a 1-0 loss at No. 8 Penn State. The Big 12 runners-up a year ago are ranked No. 25 in the United Soccer Coaches poll and No. 20 in the Top Drawer Soccer rankings.
TCU is second in the Big 12 with a 0.60 goals-against average and third with a .850 save percentage and a .600 shutout percentage. The Horned Frogs have scored two goals with two assists, and they have 59 shots and 20 shots on goal. The squad has allowed three goals.
Lauren Kellett paces the Big 12 and is 19th nationally with three shutouts, and she is second in the league with a .600 goals-against average and third with a .850 save percentage. She has made 17 saves and allowed three goals while playing every minute. Three players – Gracie Brian, Seven Castain and AJ Hennessey, have a team-high-tying two points, with Hennessey's coming on a pair of assists.
