WEST LAFAYETTE - The start of a new era for Purdue Football has arrived, with first-year head coach Ryan Walters leading the Boilermakers into the 2023 season. Along with the recent renovations to Ross-Ade Stadium, there are numerous changes to game day that Boilermaker fans need to remember as the Old Gold & Black kick off the season against Fresno State on Saturday, Sept. 2.

General Fan Sections, Entrance Gates and ADA Entrances
Purdue Athletics renumbered the seats and section entrances of Ross-Ade Stadium in the offseason to adapt to a more modern and accessible style of seat numbering. Previously, the stadium featured "tunnel" numbering for seating instead of the commonly used "section" numbering that is seen at many venues across the country. Ross-Ade now features a more simplified arrangement to section numbers, as seen below.

General fans in attendance may enter the stadium through any gate excluding Gates A, B and N. Gates A and B are for student ticket entry or general fans with ADA needs ONLY. Student tickets will be the only be accepted at gates A and B. No general tickets (with the exception of individuals with ADA needs) will be accepted at Gates A or B.

Gates A, EE, GG, and the Pavilion will be designated to accommodate individuals with disabilities, ensuring convenient entry into Ross-Ade Stadium.

Student Sections and Entrance Gates
The brand-new south end zone structure and southeast sideline now serve as the new location for Purdue University student seating. Students with football tickets must enter through Gates A or B at the southeast corner of the stadium. All students are required to wear a wristband that indicates their status as a ticket holder, which will be received upon entry at Gates A and B only.

The south end zone features safe standing seats, patio and deck areas, rail seating and enhanced concessions. Additionally, the Purdue All-American Marching Band has a new dedicated area in the expanded south end zone.

Students that prefer traditional seating can utilize sections 101-104 along the southeast sideline, where they will find standard bleachers similar to seating around the rest of the stadium.

With the latest upgrades, Ross-Ade Stadium now boasts the second highest percentage of student capacity in the Big Ten.

Tiller Tunnel and Team Walk
The Boilermakers will now enter Rohrman Field through Tiller Tunnel, named in honor of the late Purdue icon Joe Tiller. The former head coach will be memorialized with the new tunnel that connects the Kozuch Football Performance Complex through the northeast corner of the stadium, allowing a seamless transition from the locker room to the field.

The football team will arrive at Joe Tiller Drive, north of the stadium, two hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff. Fans will be able to gather around and cheer on the team as they enter KFPC.

New Premium Spaces
There are three new premium viewing areas at Ross-Ade Stadium this season: Junction Terrace, The Rail Yard and The Station.

• Junction Terrace, located in the southwest corner, allows Purdue fans to bring their friends and family to enjoy table seating with a great view of the on-field action.

• The Rail Yard, nestled above Tiller Tunnel in the northeast corner, is a new fan section that provides comfortable chairs and a vantage point of the field and video board.

• The Station offers one of the most innovative and exciting new experiences in college sports, allowing fans to board the Boilermaker Special at Slayter Hill one hour before kickoff and ride Purdue's official mascot into the stadium. Once inside, fans can enjoy the game from the comfort of the Boilermaker Special at its parking spot above Tiller Tunnel.

Additional Parking Locations and New Policies
Three new parking lots will be made available to the general public on football game days this fall: the PUSH lot, Armory lot and Driving Range lot. As always, parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Saving spaces for others is not permitted.

Seven shuttles from public lots to Ross-Ade Stadium will begin three hours before the game. Lots will open eight hours prior to kickoff, but not earlier than 8 a.m., and will close two hours after the game or at midnight, whichever comes first.
