WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue baseball's home games vs. Indiana in April and Michigan in May have been selected for live television coverage by the Big Ten Network.

The Friday, April 8 series opener vs. Indiana (4 p.m. ET) and Sunday, May 1 (2 p.m.) series finale vs. Michigan are both featured on the BTN's TV schedule this spring. The first pitch of the Sunday game vs. the Wolverines has been moved back an hour from the traditional 1 p.m. Sunday start.

Additionally, the Boilermakers have opted to move their Saturday, April 9 home game vs. Indiana to a 3 p.m. first pitch in an effort to create the opportunity for a football-baseball doubleheader. Purdue football's spring game is set for noon on that Saturday.

Due to quirks related to the opponent rotation for the eight-weekend Big Ten schedule, Purdue has only hosted rival Indiana for one weekend series since Alexander Field opened in March 2013. That weekend series in April 2017, as well as an April 2018 non-conference game vs. IU, produced some of the largest crowds in the history of the ballpark.

Season tickets are on sale now and single-game tickets go on sale Thursday, March 3. The $40 fielder's choice flex pack is also back this season and available beginning March 3. It features 20 general admission ticket vouchers ($2 per ticket) that can be used at both baseball and softball games. However, the fielder's choice vouchers are not good for baseball's series vs. the Hoosiers.

May 19 to 21 has been designated as the wildcard weekend for the BTN's television coverage. The BTN traditionally selects its games for that weekend in mid-May, making those selections based on the impact they will have on the conference standings. The Boilermakers are hosting Maryland the weekend of May 19 to 21; they're off to a combined 15-0 start this season as of Feb. 28. Purdue was featured heavily as part of the BTN wildcard weekend in both 2017 and 2018. The entire Big Ten Tournament is also televised live by the Big Ten Network.

The BTN's B1G+ streaming service, formerly known as BTN+, remains the best option for watching Big Ten baseball and softball on a regular basis. It's available as an app on most wireless devices, streaming devices and smart TVs. Watching online at BigTenPlus.com also remains an option.

All home games, excluding those featured live on BTN, and all Big Ten road games are streamed live on B1G+ in conjunction with the BTN Student U initiative. Undergraduates contributing to Student U are traditionally enrolled in the film and video studies 491 live television production course.

B1G+ Subscriptions Options:
1.) School Pass: $9.95 per month or $79.95 for the year, giving subscribers access to webcasts of all their favorite school's games across all sports
2.) Sport Pass: $39.99 for the year, giving subscribers access to all baseball content available on B1G+
3.) Conference Pass: $14.95 per month or $119.95 for the year, giving subscribers access to all content available on B1G+

Purdue's home schedule features a team-record 28 games, including seven home weekends and the return of midweek play. The Boilermakers also play road series at Illinois, Penn State, Iowa and Northwestern. All 12 of those road games will be streamed live on B1G+.

Purdue Athletics offers live radio coverage of as many baseball games as possible. WSHY 104.3 FM remains the radio home of Purdue baseball in Greater Lafayette and games are streamed for free via the Stretch portal at PurdueSports.com.
