Purdue baseball's First Pitch Dinner is back on the calendar in early February and moves to the Ross-Ade Stadium pavilion as the annual preseason celebration of the program is set for the evening of Friday, Feb. 3.

Jan. 26 Update: The seating allotment for visiting guests is now sold out. Sponsorships of student-athlete meals remains available as a way to show your support for Purdue Baseball and the First Pitch Dinner. Thank you to everyone that has contributed to the event and plans to attend. The First Pitch Dinner program will be streamed on the Purdue Baseball and Purdue Sports Facebook and Twitter pages beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue baseball's First Pitch Dinner is back on the calendar in early February and moves to the Ross-Ade Stadium pavilion as the annual preseason celebration of the program is set for the evening of Friday, Feb. 3.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. ET, with dinner served at 7 p.m. The program and honorees portion of the event follows dinner. Purdue baseball's Alumnus of the Year and Community Service Award recipients are annually announced at the First Pitch Dinner. Player introductions and remarks from head coach Greg Goff are also featured.

The cost to attend this year is $60 per person or $500 per table. There is also an option of sponsoring a student-athlete's meal. The table option includes seven tickets and a student-athlete meal. The cost is also $60 to sponsor a student-athlete. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased HERE.

American Baseball Coaches Association hall of famer and longtime University of Kentucky head coach Keith Madison is the featured guest speaker this year. Madison won 737 games as the leader of the Wildcats from 1979 to 2003, ranking third all-time in Southeastern Conference history at the time of his retirement. He also played professionally in the Montreal Expos and Cincinnati Reds organizations.

As the National Director for Baseball with SCORE International, Madison annually organized a November trip to the Dominican Republic where a large group of coaches, professional players and businessmen would conduct free clinics for over 6,000 young ballplayers. He served as the president of the ABCA in 2005 and later on ABCA's Board of Directors. In 2013, Madison was recognized with the ABCA/Wilson Lefty Gomez Award for distinguishing himself among his peers while contributing significantly to the game locally, nationally and internationally.

The program's Alumnus of the Year award is bestowed upon a degree-holding Boilermaker that has demonstrated outstanding loyalty towards and continued interest in supporting Purdue Athletics and Purdue baseball. The Community Service Award honors qualities such as sustained involvement, compassion and selflessness.

The First Pitch Dinner has grown in size since being introduced prior to the 2019 season. This year it's moving from Holloway Gymnasium to the suite accommodations on the club level of the Ross-Ade Stadium Pavilion.

The Boilermakers have also earmarked the afternoon of Saturday, Feb. 11 for their preseason fan fest inside the Mollenkopf Athletic Center. The popular free event features skill stations and other indoor activities for children as well as autograph opportunities.
