WEST LAFAYETTE, @Ind. - The No. 4-ranked Purdue Boilermakers round out its two-game roadtrip when it travels South to face an Indiana squad that is unbeaten at home. The Boilermakers are wrapping up a stretch of three road games in a four-game span, looking to record their second straight quad-one win on the road after defeating No. 11 (NET) Illinois 96-88 on Monday afternoon.
Purdue enters with a 15-2 overall record, while Indiana is 13-4 overall with an 11-0 record at home with eight straight wins by double-digits.
The contest will be televised on FS1 with Kevin Burkhardt and Jim Jackson on the call remotely. On the radio waves, Rob Blackman and Bobby Riddell will be courtside on the 22-station Purdue Radio Network and online on the Varsity Sports Network (app). 1) The combined record of both teams entering Thursday's game is 28-6 (.824). That is the best combined mark of the two teams since a Feb. 19, 2008, meeting when the two teams entered that game with a combined record of 42-9 (.824).
2) Purdue's 15-2 start matches the best 17-game start of the Matt Painter era (2009-10, 2017-18). A win over Indiana would give Painter just his second 18-game start of 16-2 during his 17 years at Purdue (2017-18 -- started 23-2).
