Since Raptor's debut in 1995, it has hosted several professional and top amateur golf tournaments including the PGA TOUR's Frys.com Open (2007-2009), Pro-Ams for the WM Phoenix Open (1996 to 2012), Tommy Bahama Challenge (2004 & 2005), AJGA Thunderbird International Junior (2000-2019) and PGA Jr. League Championship through 2022.

PLAYOFF PURDUE
It took a sudden death playoff against Northwestern, but Purdue earned its way to the 2022 NCAA Championships. In a battle for the final national championship berth out of the Stanford Regional, the Boilermakers defeated the Wildcats on one playoff hole featuring all five golfers from both teams. Entering the day tied for fourth, Purdue and Northwestern stayed that way as the two Big Ten schools fired final rounds of 288 (+4). With the top four teams advancing, a playoff was needed to determine who would secure their ticket to Grayhawk Golf Club. Playing the par-4 10th at Stanford Golf Course, the Boilermakers' team score of 1-over par bested the Wildcats' total of 3-over on the hole to clinch Purdue's 18th trip to the national championship stage.

POSTSEASON SUCCESS
The Boilermakers earned a spot in the NCAA Championships for the 18th time in program history, all since 2000 and under head coach Devon Brouse. Purdue is only one of only seven programs to advance to the final stage at least 18 times since the start of the 21st century (22 seasons with the 2020 championships cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic). The Boilermakers captured the 2010 national championship with the second-lowest four-round team score in NCAA Championships history, while Maria Hernandez won the individual crown in 2009, making Purdue one of 11 school to have won both team and individual titles.

ALL-B1G BOILERMAKERS
For the first time since 2018, two Purdue women golfers earned All-Big Ten accolades. Kan Bunnabodee was named First Team All-B1G, while Inez Wanamarta collected Second Team All-B1G recognition, making the Boilermakers one of four programs to have multiple golfers on the All-B1G teams. While leading Purdue in stroke average (72.90), Bunnabodee became the first Boilermaker to earn First Team All-B1G honors since Wanamarta four years ago. The junior has paced the Boilermakers in four out of the seven tournaments she has appeared in this season, which includes two top-10 performances. Wanamarta became an All-B1G honoree for the third time in her career. The 2018 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, she also was a first team selection before landing on the second team as a sophomore. In her final season as a Boilermaker, Wanamarta has the second-best stroke average for Purdue (73.73) behind Bunnabodee, and she has played in a team-high 10 tournaments.

BROUSE'S BOILERS
Purdue Golf has thrived under head coach Devon Brouse, who is in his 25th year guiding the program. The Boilermakers have made 23 NCAA Regional appearances, while advancing to the NCAA Championships 18 times. With Brouse as head coach, Purdue won the 2010 national championship and were runners-up in 2011. The WGCA Hall of Famer is a six-time Big Ten Coach of the Year, while leading the Boilermakers to six conference crowns.
