THE COURSE
A 21st-century golf course, The Reserve at Lake Keowee was designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 2002. The par-72 course will play at 6,386 yards for the field of 17 teams. As the name suggests, water comes into play all over the course. That includes creeks crossing in front of the green on three of the four par 5s.

PURDUE IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Boilermakers enter the tournament ranked No. 40 by Golfweek and 42nd in Golfstat's national rankings. Speaking of national rankings, the Boilermakers are going up against another strong field at this week's event. Four of the 18 teams are ranked in Golfstat's Top 25.

LAST TIME ON THE LINKS
Inez Wanamarta fired an even-par 72 to lead Purdue in the final round of the Valspar Augusta Invitational (March 13). The senior vaulted up the leaderboard, and the Boilermakers shaved 12 strokes off their opening-round score with a 301 (+13) to place 10th (+38) amongst a tough field. No. 4 South Carolina and No. 25 Ole Miss shared the tournament title at 14-over par through 36 holes. The tournament was shortened to 36 holes after high winds prevented two rounds from getting completed on day one.

A FAMILIAR TOURNAMENT
Purdue has been in the field for the last three renditions of the Clemson Invitational. The Boilermakers finished seventh last year as well as in the 2018 edition. Purdue placed 13th at the 2019 Clemson Invitational, with Danielle du Toit tying for 18th individually to lead the team. The 2020 event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Du Toit, Kan Bunnabodee and Inez Wanamarta have played in the Clemson Invitational; Wanamarta is making her third appearance in the tournament for the Boilermakers.

INEZ'S EXPERIENCE
In her fifth season as a Boilermaker, Inez Wanamarta brings veteran leadership to a team looking to return to a seventh straight NCAA Regional. The Surabaya, Indonesia, native has played in 113 rounds for the Old Gold and Black, while totaling 42 tournaments over her career. She started as the 2018 Big Ten Freshman of the Year before earning all-league honors for the second time as a sophomore. With her junior season cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pushing the start of the 2021 season to the spring, Wanamarta was given an extra year of eligibility and looks to make the most of it as her Purdue Golf career winds down.

A SPRING STAPLE
Following a redshirt year, Jocelyn Bruch has become a mainstay in the Purdue lineup. The Carmel, Indiana, native has cracked the Boilermaker starting five in six of the team's eight tournaments this season, including all four spring tournaments. Bruch has fired the low round of the day three times, and she is one of four Boilermakers to record an eagle during the 2021-22 campaign. Bruch remains in the lineup for this weekend's Clemson Invitational, making her fifth straight appearance.

NEXT ON THE TEE
The Boilermakers return home and have a week off before one last tournament ahead of the Big Ten Championship. Purdue remains in-state, traveling down to Bloomington for the Indiana Invitational (April 9-10).
