WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The No. 7-ranked Boilermakers look to move to 2-0 on the young season when in-state rival Indiana State visits Mackey Arena for an 8:30 p.m. tipoff. It marks the second straight season that the Sycamores will visit Mackey Arena, after Purdue topped ISU 80-68 a year ago.
The Boilermakers improved to 103-21 (.831) all-time in season openers, including 16-1 under head coach Matt Painter, with an 96-67 win over Bellarmine on Tuesday night. Indiana State is 1-0 following a come-from-behind 81-77 victory at Green Bay.
