Purdue is looking to bounce back from a 71-64 loss to No. 25 Michigan State last Sunday. Kayana Traylor posted her seventh game in double figures with 16 points, including 10-of-13 free throws. Madison Layden finished with five points, six rebounds and seven assists. She is just the second freshman at Purdue to tally at least five points, rebounds and assists in the last six years, joining Traylor. The Boilermakers were originally slated to face Rutgers on Thursday night, but that contest was postponed to a later date.
Karissa McLaughlin is on the verge of making more Purdue history. The senior needs two 3-pointers to take over the program career record. Courtney Moses currently holds the title with 240 career triples. McLaughlin, a career 36% shooter from distance, is 21st in Purdue's all-time scoring list and owns the 3-point records for makes in a season and a game by a freshman, sophomore and junior.

• Kayana Traylor leads the Big Ten and ranks 12th in the nation in free throws made this season with 48. The junior is just the fifth Boilermaker to knock down at least 10 free throws over the last six seasons, joining April Wilson, Ashley Morrissette, Dominique Oden and Karissa McLaughlin.
• Fatou Diagne is the only player in the Big Ten averaging a double-double (10.3 ppg, 10 rpg) in league play with at least three games.
• The long ball has played a major role in Purdue's success this season, averaging eight 3-pointers per win compared to just 2.3 in losses.
• Head coach Sharon Versyp is one win shy of notching her 300th victory at Purdue. The Boilermaker alumna will become just the eighth coach across all sports at Purdue to join the club, including Gene Keady (MBB), Matt Painter (MBB) and Dave Shondell (VB).
• Madison Layden is one of six freshmen in the nation with at least 25 assists and 15 steals this season.
• Purdue is in the midst of its first four-game stretch against ranked opponents since 2000-01. (Assuming Iowa & Indiana are in the top-25).
