WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – In what looks to be a beautiful spring weekend, the Purdue men's tennis team will look to halt a 10-match losing streak on the road, visiting Michigan State on Saturday followed by a trip to No. 24 Michigan on Sunday. The rising temperatures will likely cause the matches to be played outdoors, so only live stats will be provided. Both matches are scheduled to start at noon ET.

BOILER NOTES
- Mateo Julio reclaimed his winning record on Friday with a win against Minnesota's Jackson Allen at No. 1 4-6, 7-6(3), 12-10. His overall singles record improved to 4-3 with the win.
- The Boilermakers also claimed their first doubles match victory on the season against Minnesota, where Mateo Julio and Andre Suzanne outdueled Siim Troost and Daniel Martin at No. 3 6-2.
- In their last match against Michigan State, Purdue fell by a score of 5-2 as a part of their 2021 home opening weekend, with wins by Mateo Julio and Sebastian Welch at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
- Despite the loss earlier this season, the Boilermakers have won three of the last five matches facing the Spartans.
- Michigan State holds the No. 49 doubles pairing in the nation in Nick Williams and Kazuki Matsuno.
- The Spartans have won two of their last four matches, but lost both of their matches last weekend by a score of 7-0.
- In their first matchup against the Wolverines this season, Purdue lost to a No. 14 Michigan squad by a score of 7-0 on February 27th at Schwartz Tennis Center.
- The Boilermakers will look to halt a 16-match series losing streak against Michigan on Sunday.
- The Wolverines boast the No. 59 singles player in the nation in Ondrej Styler, as well as the No. 23 doubles pairing in the nation in Andrew Fenty and Mattias Siimar.
- Michigan ended a 8-match win streak with a 5-2 loss to No. 14 Illinois last Friday. Their only other loss came at the hands of No. 15 Baylor in the ITA Kickoff.
- The match between Purdue's two weekend opponents was scheduled for March 7th, but was postponed. The match was rescheduled for next weekend as part of a Friday-Sunday doubleheader.
