SERIES HISTORY VS. NEBRASKA
Following a 1-0 home win in 2019, Purdue is 4-7 all-time against Nebraska, including 3-5 as Big Ten foes and 1-4 in Lincoln. The two teams have gone to overtime twice, with a 2-1 road win in 2012 and a 3-2 home loss in 2017. Six of the 11 contests have been shutouts.

Last season in the Big Ten opener, Purdue shut out Nebraska 1-0 at Folk Field. Now-sophomore Leanna Rebimbas scored the match-winning goal, becoming the fourth freshman since 2007 to score in the conference opener and just the second to net the winning goal. Then-sophomore goalkeeper Marisa Bova earned the shutout, her fifth of the season, and the Boilermaker defense held the Huskers to two shots in the match, one on goal.

SCOUTING THE HUSKERS
Nebraska is 0-1-1 on the season after a 2-0 loss to Michigan State on Feb. 25. The Huskers had a 15-6 advantage in shots and a 6-2 edge in shots on goal, but the Spartan goalkeeper stopped all six shots she faced. Nebraska's Feb. 28 matchup at Ohio State was postponed.

Eleanor Dale paces the squad with four shots and three shots on goal in 2020-21. Makinzie Short has started both matches in goal and has two saves, both in a shutout performance to open the season.

The Huskers are fourth in the Big Ten with 10.50 shots per match, while they rank No. 5 in the league in shots on goal per match (5.00).

KEVDZIJA NAMED BIG TEN FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
After a three-point match, including scoring the match-winning goal in overtime, Kevdzija was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week on March 2. Kevdzija scored the winning goal at 1:54 in the second overtime and assisted on Purdue's opening goal, 30 seconds into the match, to propel the Boilermakers to a thrilling 3-2 victory over Maryland on Feb. 25. The goal and assist were both the first of Kevdzija's collegiate career as she played in her second match.

The match-winning goal came at 101:54. On the run, she received a long ball from Bova. The forward beat the Maryland defense and touched it past the keeper, who was out of her net. With her left foot, Kevdzija buried her first as a Boilermaker.

Thirty seconds into the match, she assisted on the second-earliest goal in program history, when she sent a ball in to Griffith, who scored her first of the year.

In three matches in 2020-21, Kevdzija leads the team with three points and is second with five shots and two shots on goal. She is one of three Boilermakers with a goal and one of three with an assist.

A LOOK BACK AT A TWO-OT THRILLER
Purdue took a 1-0 lead 30 seconds into the match and tied it at 2-2 at 89:59 to force overtime before scoring the match-winning goal in the second overtime in an exciting 3-2 victory over Maryland on Feb. 25.

Griffith scored the second-earliest goal in team history at 0:30, but Maryland evened the match at 1-1 in the 19th minute and took a 2-1 lead in the 81st. However, Woodbeck headed in the match-tying goal with one second left in regulation to send it to overtime. In the 102nd minute, Kevdzija scored her first collegiate goal to win it for the Boilermakers.
