Women's Golf Remains 9th at ARLTWF Heroes Ladies Intercollegiate

SARASOTA, Fla. – The women's golf team improved its 18-hole score from Sunday but held in ninth place after the second round of the ARTLWF Heroes Ladies Intercollegiate.

SARASOTA, Fla. – The women's golf team improved its 18-hole score from Sunday but held in ninth place after the second round of the ARTLWF Heroes Ladies Intercollegiate.
 
Highlighted by a 1-under par 71 by senior Inez Wanamarta, Purdue shaved four strokes off its combined team score from yesterday, carding a 5-over par 293 collectively Monday.  
 
Wanamarta finished the second round strong, recording birdies on three of her final five holes to overcome a pair of bogeys on the front nine. She is 3-over par after 36 holes, tied for 24th in the individual standings.
 
After posting an even-par 72 Sunday, sophomore Kan Bunnabodee returned Monday with a 1-over par 73. Her two-round total of 145 leaves her in a tie for 17th heading into tomorrow's final round.
 
Mississippi continues to lead the 15-team field with a 13-under par score of 563. Oklahoma State's Maja Stark maintained her lead individually, shooting 6-under par 66 for a second straight day.
 
The final round in the inaugural year of the event will tack place Tuesday with shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m. ET.
