The Boilermakers will go for the season sweep of the Lady Lions, after winning a 91-87 shootout on Dec. 20. Kayana Traylor posted a career-high 28 points with four rebounds and five assists. Brooke Moore tallied 19 points with six helpers. Purdue shot a season-high 56.4% from the field and connected on 9-of-15 from deep. The Boilermakers topped 90 points for the first time since Jan. 17, 2016, at Ohio State.
Moore tallied her third 20-point game of the year Thursday afternoon at Minnesota. Madison Layden finished two points shy of her career high, totaling 17 points against the Golden Gophers, with 15 coming in the second half. Layden is one of nine freshmen in the last six years and one of two from the Big Ten with at least 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 3-pointers per game.

• Purdue leads the all-time series against Penn State 33-21, with a 17-7 mark at Mackey Arena.
• Brooke Moore has averaged 11.8 points per game over her last four outings with seven triples.
• Kayana Traylor continues to lead the team with 44 assists. Purdue is 22-14 when Traylor has led the team in helpers over the last three years.
• Mackey Arena has provided a boost to Purdue's defense, as the Boilermakers have allowed just 66.4 points at home compared to 83.5 points per game on the road. Purdue also has a +5.0 rebounding margin at Mackey Arena to a -4.3 away from home.
• After a two-game stretch against Indiana and Iowa with a combined nine made free throws, the Boilermakers have knocked down at least 10 freebies in each of their last two games. Purdue is tied for fifth in the Big Ten with 9.3 trips to the line per game.
• Fatou Diagne became the first Boilermaker since Whitney Bays in 2014-15 with three straight double-doubles, the fourth-longest streak in history.
• Senior Tamara Farquhar needs 41 rebounds to join the program top-15 career boards. She ranks 10th with 6.5 rebounds per game.
• The extra pass has played a part in Purdue's wins. The Boilermakers have averaged 17 assists per win, compared to 11.4 per loss.
• Purdue has made at least nine 3-pointers in five games, which is tied for second in the Big Ten.
