WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's golf team begins its spring season this weekend, looking for a Big Ten title in the Big Ten Match Play Championship played at the Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

The event features two courses at the Hammock Beach Resort as 13 of the 14 teams will play the Ocean Course (par-72; 7,201 yards) and the Conservatory Course (par-72; 7,776 yards).

Purdue enters the event as the No. 2 seed behind top-seeded Northwestern and received a first-round bye into Friday afternoon's quarterfinals. However, the Boilermakers and top-seeded Wildcats will play a practice match that will count toward each team's win / loss record according to Golfstat.

The Boilermakers will then face the winner of Penn State and Indiana in Friday afternoon's round of 8, before the semifinals and finals on Saturday.

Purdue has finished second (2014), sixth (2015), third (2016), fifth (2017), first (2018) and fifth (2019) during Bradley's six years at Purdue. The Boilermakers own a 14-4-4 record during that span.

Bradley will use the same team that he has used all fall season in hopes of securing Purdue's second team title in three years at the event. Purdue's golfers in seed order will be Joe Weiler, Nick Dentino, Andrew Farraye, Jason Hong, Cole Bradley and Peyton Snoeberger. The seeds are determined strictly by Golfstat, meaning Purdue's No. 1 golfer (Weiler) will play the No. 1 golfer on the opposing team and so on.

Purdue will begin stroke-play action the following weekend at the Puerto Rico Classic.
