WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue wrestling team is set to open the Big Ten Dual schedule this weekend, heading to Northwestern on Friday for a 7 p.m. CT start at Welsh-Ryan Arena, and returning home to Holloway Gymnasium on Sunday to host top-ranked Iowa at 4 p.m. ET. The Boilermakers are 7-1 in dual competition on the year, including a 3-0 mark in Holloway after a sweep of the Boilermaker Duals in November.
PURDUE LINEUP & RANKINGS
The Boilermakers are making history in 2019-20, pushing their team tournament rankings into the top 10 and as high as No. 4 in the nation. With four individuals in the top-eight at their respective weights, they're posting between 56.5 and 46 points in the polls. Purdue is No. 18 in the latest NWCA Coaches Dual Poll, and has dual rankings from InterMat, WIN and The Open Mat as well.
LAST TIME OUT

Purdue finished eighth with 75.0 points, marking their second top-10 team showing in the last three seasons, and crowned two individual champions for the first time ever. Lydy kept his red-hot start to 2019-20 going 5-0 and taking the 174-pound title, while Brunner captured the 197-pound crown with a huge semifinal win over the nation's No. 3 wrestler at the weight. Coleman was the other Boilermaker on the podium, taking fourth at 157 pounds.
