WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The 2019 Purdue football season opener at Nevada has been moved from Saturday, Aug. 31, to Friday, Aug. 30.
Kickoff and television coverage from Mackay Stadium in Reno will be announced at a later date.
The Boilermakers and the Wolf Pack have met once previously, with Purdue winning 24-14 on Sept. 24, 2016, at Ross-Ade Stadium.
Nevada went 8-5 last season - its best record since going 13-1 in 2010 - including a 16-13 overtime win over Arkansas State in the Arizona Bowl.
Purdue's home opener is Saturday, Sept. 7, against Vanderbilt at Ross-Ade Stadium. Season tickets are on sale here.
