WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -
After opening the 2019-20 season in impressive fashion at the Michigan State Open last weekend, the Purdue wrestling team begins its dual schedule Saturday, heading to Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York for the 2019 Journeymen Northeast Duals. The Boilermakers will wrestle three times Saturday, set to face Buffalo, Utah Valley and No. 8 Arizona State at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m., respectively.

"We got off to a great start last week, but it's important for us to take the next step," said Boilermaker head coach Tony Ersland. "We're trying to teach our guys that it doesn't matter what you did last week, or who you wrestle in the next match, but it's who's in front of you right now. Go out and compete at a high level every time."
