PISCATAWAY, N.J. – In the fourth bout of overtime play this season, the Purdue women's soccer team (6-7-3, 2-5-2) fell 1-0 to No. 22 Rutgers (11-2-2, 5-2-1). The game-winner was notched in the 92nd minute of play by one of the leading Big Ten scorers, Nneka Moneme.

The Boilermakers out-shot the Scarlet Knights in the second half, 6-5. Pressure built for Purdue, accumulating a 5-2 shot advantage in the final 18 minutes of regulation, including three shots in the last five minutes.
