WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – It is time to talk Purdue and Big Ten football.
Big Ten Football Media Days get underway Thursday at the Hilton in downtown Chicago, and the Boilermakers will take their turn in front of the cameras and behind the microphones Friday.
The Purdue contingent consists of head coach Jeff Brohm, fifth-year linebacker Markus Bailey, sophomore All-American wide receiver Rondale Moore and senior defensive tackle Lorenzo Neal.
BTN will air head coach press conferences Thursday from 1 to 2:45 p.m. ET and Friday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Brohm will appear Friday from 9:15 to 9:30 a.m. ET.
In addition, head coaches and student-athletes will appear live on the BTN studio set Thursday from 3 to 6:30 p.m. ET and Friday from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Bailey, Moore and Neal will be on Friday from 4:15 to 4:30 p.m. ET, followed by Brohm from 4:45 to 5 p.m.
SiriusXM Big Ten Radio channel 372 will be talking Big Ten football wall to wall.
Along with answering questions, the coaches and student-athletes will take part in myriad marketing and promotional initiatives to be utilized throughout the upcoming season.
The 48th-annual Big Ten Kickoff Luncheon - featuring all 14 schools - is Friday in the International Ballroom at the Hilton. Rece Davis of ESPN will serve as emcee. The festivities begin at 10 a.m. CT with an autograph session with the head coaches. Around 10:50 a.m., fans can get group pictures of all 14 coaches and all 42 student-athletes in attendance. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. and will feature highlight videos, group interviews conducted by Davis and sideline reporter Laura Rutledge with coaches, students and special guests, and much more, including door prizes highlighted by a free trip to the 2019 Big Ten Football Championship Game and the 2020 Rose Bowl Game.
