Round Two Tee Times / Live Results
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Purdue women's golf team's second round at the NCAA Championships will have to wait until Sunday as play was suspended indefinitely before the Boilermakers' 2:01 p.m. ET tee time at The Blessings Golf Club. The first wave of teams completed between 11 and 18 holes in the second round of the championships and will pick up where they left off Sunday, while Purdue and 11 other teams will have an entire round to complete.
The 12 teams that started second-round play Saturday will finish their round starting at 10 a.m., along with the first six teams of the second group, going off on No. 1 and No. 10, simultaneously. Purdue will tee off in the second wave of teams, scheduled to begin at 9:06 a.m.
Due to the suspension in action, the stroke play for the NCAA Championships will be shortened to 54 holes, with the top-eight teams still advancing to a match-play tournament to decide the team title. Originally the 24-team field was to be cut to 15 after Sunday's round, but now the entire field will complete the stroke-play portion of the championship.
Purdue is tied for ninth place in the team standings, matched with Auburn at 20-over par. Duke has taken the overall team lead, shooting 11-under par Saturday, sitting two-over par for the tournament and having just three holes to finish in the second round. USC also has a sub-par total going in the second round, posting a five-under par mark three holes to play and at nine-over par in the team standings.
Arizona's Bianca Pagdanganan still holds the individual lead at four-under par, shooting even par through 16 holes of her second round Saturday. Arkansas' Maria Fassi is second at three-under par, playing two-under through 11 holes in the second round after finishing one-under par Friday. Purdue sophomore Inez Wanamarta is tied for ninth place individually and is one-of-six players at one-over par.
The Boilermakers' official tee time is yet to be announced, but they will still be paired with San Jose State and Mississippi.
