THE HISTORY OF WRESTLING IN MACKEY ARENA
• It is the third consecutive season the Boilermakers have wrestled a dual at Mackey, with the Hoosiers as two of the three opponents.
• Home duals were contested at Mackey Arena through the 1983-84 season ... home duals then moved over to the newly constructed Intercollegiate Athletics Facility, now Holloway Gymnasium, which was built in 1982 ... before moving to their new home facility in the 1984-85 season, the Boilermakers won their final regular season dual in Mackey Arena, going out with a 39-15 win over Indiana on Feb. 7, 1984.
• Other than duals, Mackey Arena has served as the host venue for the 2000 and 2012 Big Ten Wrestling Championships.

SERIES HISTORY: INDIANA
• The Boilermakers are seeking their ninth straight win over Indiana ... their current eight-dual win streak is Purdue's longest winning streak in the series ... the eight straights wins in the series are also the longest for either team since the Hoosiers won 10 straight, spanning from Jan. 11, 1976, to Feb. 8, 1983.
• During the current streak, five of the duals have featured a ranked Purdue squad, compared to Indiana being ranked just once, No. 20 at the Feb. 7, 2016, meeting ... five of the Boilermakers' wins have come on their home mat ... Indiana's last venture to West Lafayette saw Purdue's Jacob Morrissey upset 19th-ranked Devin Skatzka and true freshman Christian Brunner land a major decision over Jake Hinz as the Boilermakers won the first dual at Mackey Arena in a dozen years 19-12.
