LOOKING BACK
The Boilermakers won their fifth straight home game and improved to 10-1 at Mackey Arena, taking down No. 17 Iowa on Thursday. Purdue rallied from eight points down in the fourth quarter, scoring 22 points in the final period, including a pair of 3's and 8-of-11 at the free throw line. The Boilermakers picked up their second ranked win of the season, and third straight over the Hawkeyes.

STARTING TO ROLL
The Purdue starting lineup has been in full stride in recent weeks, scoring 95.8 percent of the team's points over the first four conference games. Sophomore Tamara Farquhar and freshman Kayana Traylor have given the team the biggest boost as Farquhar is averaging 10.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in Big Ten play, while Traylor is coming off one of her biggest games of the season with 12 points against Iowa.

MOVING ON UP
Purdue head coach Sharon Versyp is set to make a strong move up the Big Ten's career conference wins list in the next few weeks, currently ranking eighth all-time with 132 to her credit. She enters Sunday's game two shy of Ohio State's Nancy Darsch (1985-97), three short of Northwestern's Don Perrelli (1984-99) and four wins away from matching Ohio State's Jim Foster (2002-12).

RUNNING THE MARATHON
McLaughlin heads into the weekend with the most minutes played of any individual in the nation at 619:38, good for an average of 36.4 minutes per game. She's started all 17 games for the Old Gold & Black this season, including four complete games, and already has 14 complete games on her resume in just one and half seasons of competition. McLaughlin's career average of 34.2 minutes per game trails only Stephanie White (34.6) and is tied for second all-time with Versyp.

ALL ABOUT NORTHWESTERN
The Wildcats welcome the Boilermakers to Welsh-Ryan Arena at 9-6 overall, 6-2 on their home floor and 2-2 in conference play. Northwestern has won both of its Big Ten contests at home, taking down Illinois and Michigan State, but falling at Rutgers and most-recently 79-78 in overtime at Michigan. Similar to Purdue's overtime loss to South Carolina, the Wildcats lost their starting post players due to injury and foul trouble at Michigan as junior Abi Scheid went down with an ankle injury, playing only 17 minutes, and senior Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah fouled out after only 17 minutes on the floor. Head coach Joe McKeown is in his 11th season with the Wildcats, and has won 679 career games in 33 years on the sidelines. Northwestern has made its mark with ball security this season, ranking second in the conference at 14.2 turnovers per game and second in turnover margin at +4.13. Sophomore Lindsey Pulliam leads the Wildcats in scoring at 15.7 points per game, including 18.3 points per game in conference play. Kunaiyi-Akpanah was a preseason All-Big Ten selection and is averaging 10.9 points and 10.3 rebounds per game, including 4.5 offensive rebounds per game, which ranks seventh in the NCAA. Scheid and sophomore Jordan Hamilton are averaging double figures as well, posting 11.0 and 10.2 points per game, respectively.
