WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's basketball team continues its grueling gauntlet with its third road game in its third different state in 12 days, traveling to the Capital city of Texas to face the Longhorns. The contest will be televised on ESPN2 with Lowell Galindo and Fran Fraschilla calling the action courtside, beginning at 6 p.m. ET.
On the radio waves, the contest will be available on the Purdue Radio Network and TuneIn.com, with Larry Clisby and Rob Blackman on the call, beginning with the Purdue Basketball pregame show at 5 p.m.

• Purdue is 6-3 after picking up a much-needed 62-60 win over No. 23 Maryland on Thursday in Mackey. The Boilermakers won the game with their defense, holding Maryland to 20 points below its average and just 35.1 percent shooting from the field.
• Meanwhile, Purdue overcame a minus-10 rebound margin and 16 turnovers to earn its first Big Ten win of the season. Purdue shot 50.0 percent from the field in the second half and Carsen Edwards (20) and Aaron Wheeler (15) combined for 35 points in the win.
• Carsen Edwards and Ryan Cline combine to average 37.9 points per game, making the duo the third-highest major-college scoring duo in America (Duke, Gonzaga).
• Texas enters the contest with a 5-3 record, losing three straight games to Michigan State, Radford and VCU. The Longhorns do own wins over Arkansas and North Carolina.Kerwin Roach II leads the Longhorns in scoring at 14.9 PPG. Texas is shooting just 40.5 percent and 28.9 percent from deep.
