Purdue is looking to bounce back from consecutive losses to Texas and Notre Dame. For the rest of the season, Purdue has just six games against sub top-50 opponents.

Purdue will depart for the Holidays before closing out non-conference play Dec. 29, vs. a good Belmont squad in Mackey Arena.

THE TWO TEAMS
• Purdue enters Thursday's contest with the Bobcats with a 6-5 record and looking to snap a two-game losing streak.

• Carsen Edwards continues to play at a high level, averaging 25.6 points and 3.7 assists while ranking fifth nationally in scoring.
• Ryan Cline averages 13.5 points per game and is 32nd nationally in 3-ptrs made (35).
• The Boilermakers are 11th nationally in 3-pointers per game (10.9) and has moved to 54th in turnovers per game (11.8).
• Ohio is 7-3 after defeating Detroit Mercy 63-61 and Radford in its last two games. The Bobcats' losses have come to South Florida, Loyola Marymount and Xavier.
• Jason Carter leads Ohio in scoring at 19.3 PPG, and the Bobcats have seven players averaging at least 5.0 PPG.

THE TALKING POINTS
• Purdue is looking to improve to 13-1 in final games before the Holiday break during the Matt Painter era.
• Purdue is playing just its third home game in the last 39 days (Nov. 10 vs. Ball State; Nov. 23 vs. Robert Morris; Dec. 6 vs. Maryland; Dec. 20 vs. Ohio).
• During the month of December, opponents have shot 86.1 percent against Purdue from the free throw line and 44.4 percent from 3-point range.
• Purdue has made at least nine 3-pointers in 10 of 11 games this year, including nine straight contests.
• Carsen Edwards has scored at least 19 points in all 11 games, one of two players nationally to have at least 19 points in every game.
• Ryan Cline has made 35 3-pointers this year. He needs five more to become the third player in school history with 40 3-pointers in all four seasons (Robbie Hummel, E'Twaun Moore).
