SCOUTING OHIO STATE (7-5-3, 4-2-3 B1G)
• Ohio State enters the week following a pair of draws at home. The Buckeyes held No. 21 Rutgers to a 0-0 score on Friday night and a 1-1 stalemate versus Maryland on Sunday.
•  Izzy Rodriguez earned back-to-back B1G honors this season after being named Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 2 and Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 25. Furthermore, she is tied for fifth in the B1G with four goals in league play.
• The Buckeyes are undefeated in 2018 when scoring first and has played four overtime matches this season, going 1-0-3.
• Ohio State ties for third in the conference with just seven goals allowed this season.
• The squad owns a .533 shutout percentage, good for 28th in the nation, while Devon Kerr amassed seven clean sheets this season, coming in at T-24th nationally.

SCOUTING NO. 23 RUTGERS (9-2-5, 5-1-3 B1G)
• Rutgers has gone to overtime for nine consecutive matches and 10 overall on the season.
• The Scarlet Knights enter the final week of play in third place of the Big Ten standings with just nine goals scored.
• Rutgers ties Penn State with the least amount of goals allowed past its keeper with five in conference play.
• Rutgers is home to the Big Ten leading scorer Amirah Ali, who owns 10 goals this season, including five in league action. Additionally, Nicole Whitley ties for the B1G lead with seven assists while goalkeeper Meagan McClelland is second in the conference in goals against average (0.62).

VS. TOP-TIER OPPONENTS
• Purdue holds a 1-1-2 (.500) record versus top-25 ranked opponents this season, which stands as tied for third-best in program history. No Purdue team has earned a better record than the 2018 squad in over 10 years.
• Thus far, Purdue has lost to only one team: then-ranked No. 15 South Carolina (Sept. 2), marking only the fifth time in school history the Boilermakers have fallen no more than one time to a ranked opponent. Additionally, two of those five occurrences have come in the past two seasons (last: 2017, 0-0-1).
• The 2018 team ties 2017 and 2007 with a .500 record, however this year's squad has faced more games versus ranked opponents.
• The Boilermakers recorded a victory over No. 24 Louisville and tied No. 25 West Virginia and No. 25 Northwestern, while its only loss came to then-ranked No. 15 South Carolina early September.

OVERTIME FOR THE BOOKS
• With the overtime draw on Sunday at No. 25 Northwestern, Purdue set a new season record with five overtime matches (previous: four).
• Purdue averages 95.94 minutes per game heading into its final week of conference action. Entering October, the Boilermakers averaged 98.08 minutes per game, which was the tenth most in Division I and the most among Power Five institutions heading into October.

VS. B1G OPPONENTS
• The 2018 season is full of close games. All but one B1G game has been decided by one goal or less, which ties 2004 as the second-least in a single season in program history, only behind 2002, when every game had no more than a single goal differential.
• Four of Purdue's B1G games this season have gone to overtime, marking the most extra-minute battles Purdue has faced in a season.
• Purdue allowed just five goals heading into October, marking just the second time in eight years the Boilermakers allowed five or less through its first four B1G  games (2017 - three goals allowed).
• Four Boilermakers have netted a goal during conference action: Sarah Clark, Kylie Hase, Aly Mielke and Ena Sabanagic.
