WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue women's soccer team (5-2-2, 0-1-1 B1G) prepares for its first road trip of the Big Ten play. First, the Boilermakers will take on Iowa on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET before traveling to Nebraska for a 2 p.m. ET match Sunday.

OUT OF THE GATE
• Purdue has started a Division I-leading eight freshmen in a single game. Not only is Purdue the only program to do so, but the Boilermakers have gone unbeaten in each occurrence with a victory over Western Michigan and a draw against Michigan State. On average, the Boilermakers have started seven freshmen a game this season.
• For the eighth time in Purdue history and the first time since 2014, the Boilermakers entered Big Ten play with one loss or less.

SCOUTING IOWA (4-4-1, 0-2-0 B1G)
• Iowa is coming off four straight losses, all of which have been on the road. In the Big Ten opener, the Hawkeyes fell to Maryland, 4-0 before dropping a 2-1 double overtime game to Rutgers.
• Natalie Winters leads the Hawkeyes with six points, including three goals netted this season.
• Purdue's last matchup against Iowa ended with a 2-1 loss. Kylie Hase scored Purdue's lone goal of the game.

SCOUTING NEBRASKA (5-3-2, 1-0-1 B1G)
• Through the first week of Big Ten action, Nebraska remains unbeaten after posting a win and a draw. The Huskers opened with a 1-1 draw on the road at Rutgers, before taking down Maryland 2-1.
• Sunday's game will mark the first time the Boilermakers play at Hibner Stadium, which was built in 2015.
• Nebraska's Savanah Uveges leads the team and ties for third in the B1G standings with 13 points. Additionally, Uveges owns a team-high five goals, which is just one goal shy of tying the league-best.
• Purdue's last battle against Nebraska was forced into overtime, where the Boilermakers fell 3-2 to the Huskers last October.

SECOND-HALF STRENGTH
• The Boilermakers second-half performances this year are among the best in program history. Their second-half comebacks led to victories over No. 24 Louisville, Iowa State and draws against then-No. 25 West Virginia and Michigan State.
• Purdue's ability to make adjustments during halftime has led to 78.6 percent of all goals this year (11 of 14) occurring in the second period. 

PURDUE'S LEADERS
Kylie Hase set the Purdue program record after scoring in six consecutive games. Her streak was brought to an end Sunday with the team's 1-0 loss to Michigan. Her six goals stand as a team-high along with a team-leading 12 points.
Sarah Clark follows Hase with nine points and a team-high five assists, which ties as No. 19 in the nation. The sophomore also owns two goals, which have both come on penalty kicks.
• Junior Ena Sabanagic leads Purdue off the bench with two goals this year.

LAST TIME OUT
• Purdue's six-game home unbeaten streak came to an end last Sunday after Purdue dropped only its second game of the season to Michigan. 
• The Boilermakers reached a stalemate with Michigan State in the conference opener with a score of 2-2. In the draw, Purdue recorded 30 shots, which is the most by a Big Ten team in a conference match this year and the most in any game by the Boilermakers since 2014, which also came against MSU.
