WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Big Ten Conference and Big Ten Network announced their television coverage for the 2018-19 women's basketball season Thursday, revealing 10 Purdue games set for the big screen. It marks the second straight year the Boilermakers will play at least 10 contests on national television and all 31 regular season games will be available in web video format.
The Boilermakers will play a pair of non-conference games in the spotlight, hosting Western Illinois in Mackey Arena on Nov. 15 on the BTN and 2017 NCAA Champions South Carolina on Dec. 16 on ESPN2.
Four of Purdue's first five conference games will air on the BTN, hosting Ohio State on Dec. 28, Michigan on Jan. 5 and Iowa on Jan. 10, before a road game at Northwestern on Jan. 13. The Boilermakers return to the big screen Jan. 31 against Nebraska at home and get more airtime Feb. 3 at Michigan State.
Two of the Boilermakers' final three home games will be carried by the BTN as well, hosting Minnesota on Valentine's Day and Maryland on Feb. 25.
Purdue opens its season Sunday, Nov. 4, with an exhibition game against Ashland University at Mackey Arena. The Boilermakers and Eagles will tip at 2 p.m. ET, and the game will air live via BTN Plus.
