RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Purdue (4-19) is set to finish its non-conference schedule in Riverside where it'll take on three opponents in five games on UC Riverside's campus. The final weekend of non-conference play ends a stretch of six consecutive weeks on the road.

The Boilermakers will take on Texas Tech and Idaho State twice each and play the tournament's host, UC Riverside, once. Purdue is coming off a 2-3 weekend in Oklahoma City where it earned victories over Saint Francis and Pacific.

Kaitlynn Moody enjoyed her best weekend of the season, earning both of Purdue's victories, two complete games and a 1.17 ERA over the course of 18 innings of work. The junior gave herself a solid chance to earn a third victory in the weekend's finale but the Boilermakers ultimately fell in a pitchers duel 1-0 to Drake. The weekend's effort drops her ERA to 3.32 on the season and gives her 78 inning pitched this season. Her workload ranks fourth in the Big Ten.

One of the main factors behind Moody's success was the defense behind her, particularly her teammate manning the hot corner. Jenny Behan tallied 15 assists and four putouts on the weekend giving her 47 assists on the year. The total ranks her sixth in the conference overall and the junior transfer currently leads all Big Ten third basemen in the category. Behan also swung the bat well, going 5-for-13 (.385) with a triple, a home run, four runs batted in, a run scored and four walks. She's now hitting .288 on the year with a .593 slugging percentage and a .408 on-base percentage.

Matching Behan's five hits in Oklahoma was Ryleigh Scott who also earned her first career home run. The homer was an in-the-parker in the top of the seventh inning against Saint Francis which ended up being the difference in the 4-3 win for Purdue. Scott now leads Purdue with 25 hits and a .325 batting average this season. The hit total leads all freshmen in the Big Ten.
