WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue women's basketball looks to knock off its second straight ranked opponent Saturday, heading to 18th-ranked Iowa for a 4 p.m. ET tip at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The Boilermakers aim to secure their first win in Iowa City since 2008, working to snap a streak of five losses on Iowa's home floor.
LAST TIME OUT
- Purdue won its fifth straight home game Wednesday, knocking off No. 21 Rutgers in Mackey Arena 47-33, and ending an 11-game win streak for the Scarlet Knights
- The Scarlet Knights were Purdue's first ranked opponent of the season, and marked the 107th all-time win over ranked opponents in program history
- The Boilermakers held Rutgers to 26.8 percent shooting, resulting in 10 first-half points and a season-low scoring total for the Scarlet Knights
- Purdue held the NCAA's No. 15 scorer, Tyler Scaife, to just nine points on 4-of-15 shooting

- Versyp is in her 18th season as a head coach and 12th on the Boilermaker sidelines, making her the longest tenured head coach in program history
- Her 248 wins at Purdue are the most in school history, and she is seven conference wins shy of matching Lin Dunn for the most Big Ten victories at Purdue
- Purdue has advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 9-of-11 seasons under Versyp, including each of the last two seasons, making the Boilermakers 1-of-23 programs in the country to accomplish the feat during the time frame
- The Boilermakers are 11-8 against Iowa in Versyp's tenure
