WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - No. 20-ranked Purdue rolled its way to a 2-0 record on opening weekend with a pair of explosive victories.
The Boilermakers averaged 108.0 points in the wins over SIU-Edwardsville and Chicago State, shooting 59.8 percent from the field in the two games. Purdue's 105 points in the opener against SIU-Edwardsville were the fourth most in a season opener in school history and the Boilermakers surpassed the century mark in consecutive games for the first time since the 1973-74 season.
